Over the centuries this question had been asked frequently at occasions. Whether it is at a social event, function, party or just for the fun of it, it has been asked a great deal of times. Usually people said, “Yes,” but now days the yes is more for that weird trending moves. Even though they have been created to trend and you can pull it off without looking like a flippen flamingo, it doesn’t really qualify as dancing. So what does qualify as dancing? Good question. Dancing is when you express yourself moving through your body. It is when you confidently move your body with rhythm. It doesn’t even need to match the music’s rhythm. (Most dancers create their own rhythm by the way). It are the moments you dance in front of your mirror to a Taylor Swift dance, it is when you bust moves in the kitchen while cooking, grooving away on the treadmill, putting in hops and bumps in your circuit movements, and it is when you do small steps while singing false. You can tell yourself you can’t dance. You can smile and nod, telling the person, “No I can’t,” but in reality you can. Dancing is a fancy way of walking. Everyone can dance. So the answer to the question is YES YOU CAN DANCE.
